These ribs are amazing - spicy, smoky, sweet, and soft. The recipe is actually adapted from Bonnie Stern's smokey barbecued brisket recipe.
For 4 racks of baby back ribs.
Dry Rub:
1/4 cup Brown Sugar
2 Tbsp Smoked Paprika
1 Tbsp Garlic Powder
1 Tbsp Kosher Salt
1 Tbsp Cumin
BBQ Sauce:
1 1/2 cups Bulls Eye bbq sauce
2 Tbsp Brown Sugar
2 Tbsp Maple Syrup
2 Tbsp Dijon Mustard
2 Tbsp Cider Vinegar
2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp Chipotle puree
Combine dry rub ingredients and rub over ribs. Let sit up to overnight (can also be used immediately).
Braise ribs at 300F for 2 to 3 hours, depending on thickness, until tender. Brush with bbq sauce, and broil briefly until the sauce has thickened.
