Biscuits

Biscuits are simple, quick, and savory. This recipe calls for cheese, which could be replaced by any number of fillings: berries, raisins, cranberries, etc.
  • 455 g All Purpose Flour
  • 30 g Baking Powder
  • 5 g Salt
  • 60 g Butter, chilled
  • 115 g Cheddar Cheese, shredded
  • 230 ml Buttermilk/ Milk/ Water
Mix together dry ingredients, and crumble with butter. Add cheese and milk, then mix until just combined. Roll out into 1/2" thick, then cut into scones or use a ring to cut into rounds. Place on parchment-lined tray, eggwash, then bake at 400F for 15 to 20 minutes.
